Lime and Spice Cod

Cod is a perfect summer fish that reminds me of summers on Cape Cod. Although I haven’t been traveling as much this summer, I still enjoy the summer foods that I have always eaten this time of year. Cod is one of my favorites. Fish is a great food  because of its high omega content which nourishes the brain. Additionally, above almost all others, fish is an incredibly important food to buy sustainably. Many fish are raised in overcrowded fish farms, or in polluted bodies of water. Buy “wild-caught” fish for a catch free of toxins, other additives, and traces of pollution.

Ingredients:

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 450 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Spray baking sheet with non-stick oil.
  • Place cod on pan.
  • Sprinkle seasoning, herb, and salt onto cod.
  • Cook for 5-7 minutes.
  • Melt butter.
  • Take cod out of oven when cooked. Apply lime juice and melted butter.
